Last weekend I went to Keego Harbor which is outside of Detroit. I went there to see my friend Jen as well as having an alternate secret agenda. She knows about it as do some of my other readers which I hope it stays a secret. For now anyways.
The night was pretty fun. Very low key but still fun. We went to this little irish pub which we found out was a bad place to go to the weekend after St. Patty's day. The words of the night were "sorry were out of that." For example, I wanted an appetizer, cream cheese poppers. I got an alternate which was not as good, chicken wings. Beer choices, I got #4 which turned out to be good since it was red stripe. Yeah.
After dinner we hung out at Jen's apartment which I had to laugh because we are both a little bit of dorks and were sitting on the couch on our laptops. We were looking up random things and I started laughing because I realized we both stopped talking and were just surfin the web.
The best part was just being able to hang out at someones house and not have to do anything.
The next day she took me on a tour of the town. A nice day for a drive. Unfortunately I had to leave to come back to work Saturday night. BOO!

Some of the best friends are the ones you don't say anything to and you still have a great time. Glad you had fun - but I'd like to know the secret.
